How can I be a Foster chef?

How can I partner with a Foster host or local venue to hold a gathering?

That's all on us. We love playing matchmaker. If you already have a space in mind, send it on along to us and we can take it from there. We are always looking for new, unique spaces for gatherings. You'd be surprised on the places where we can pop. 

 

How are ticketed prices determined?

We will work together to determine the ticket price for a dinner. A lot of details go into each gathering and so it's a collaborative effort between all parties. 

 

What if a guest cancels their seat?

Guests can cancel their seat as long as it is 48+ hours of the gathering for a full refund. If it is less than 48 hours before the gathering, the guest will still be charged, with the option to transfer the ticket to a friend. Note that once a seat is cancelled 48+ hours in advance, it will become available for other guests to reserve. 

 

What dietary restrictions should I accommodate?

This is ultimately up to you, but we do try to accommodate all guests with any dietary restrictions. We will receive this information once a guests purchases a ticket, and we will pass along immediately.  Keep in mind, the more dietary restrictions and preferences you can accommodate, the more guests you will likely attract.

 

How far in advance do I need to list my gathering?

We typically like to list gatherings one month in advance.

 

What should I expect during my food gathering?

Although each gathering is unique in its own way, all food gatherings have a similar structure so guests know what to expect. Food gatherings typically last around 2 hours. We also encourage all of our chefs to speak at each gathering, sharing their story and their inspiration behind your meal. This authenticity creates a unique experience guests cannot get elsewhere.
