The basic premise — a space intentionally curated for music-enthusiasts to connect and for artists to showcase their most raw and vulnerable selves. Vol. IV was no exception. In fact, what started as a considerably silent room became one filled with laughter — as our emotions went for a ride with the musicians' unique storylines. Drew Davis kicked us off. Her lyrics gently spoke to navigating some of life's most pressing challenges. Each song felt carefully constructed as her impressive range captivated us all. Next, The Texas Piano Man himself,Robert Ellis. Strutting his signature all-white get up, Robert took the room by storm — engaging the crowd with satirical humor and witty lyrics that felt all too relatable. Few artists are able to blend their instrumental and songwriting talents with a comedic twist, but Robert, well, he’s a force to reckon with.
