SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

[ ROLE OVERVIEW ]

Foster is looking for a part-time Social Media Coordinator to help tell the story of what we do and how we do it. This role is focused on behind-the-scenes content from our work: in the office, on set, and at activations and events. Content will come from a mix of assets we send you and shoots you plan or capture yourself. Your job is to shape it, build the strategy around it, schedule it and make sure it lands.

This is a great foot in the door for someone who wants to continue to build their portfolio in content creation or for someone who wants a behind-the-scenes look at the world of experiential marketing. This role is contract-based and is not a full-time position.

[ SKILLS & ABILITIES ]

  • Content Capture & Editing: Work from a mix of assets we provide and content you shoot yourself — planned shoots, on-site moments, or whatever the strategy calls for. Edit everything into platform-ready content for Instagram and TikTok. You know what feels native to each platform and you don't treat them the same.

  • Content Strategy: Develop and maintain an overall content strategy for Foster's social presence — rooted in relevant trends, brand voice, and the goal of positioning Foster as a founder-led agency and thought leader in experiential.

  • Content Calendar: Build and manage a content calendar with a consistent posting cadence across Instagram and TikTok. Plan ahead, stay organized, and keep the rhythm going even when things get busy.

  • Scheduling: Own the scheduling and publishing of all content. Nothing goes up without intention behind it.

  • Brand Storytelling: Understand and maintain Foster's voice — founder-led, behind-the-curtain, and confident. Content should feel real while also curated.

  • Trend Awareness: Stay plugged into what's moving on both platforms and in brand culture, experiential, and creative industries. Bring relevant ideas to the table proactively.

  • Platform Management: Manage Foster's Instagram and TikTok presence including captions, hashtags, and community engagement.

[ QUALIFICATIONS ]

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in social media, marketing, communications, film, or a related field.

  • An active presence on Instagram and/or TikTok — as a creator, brand manager, or both. Show us what you've made.

  • Proven ability to build a content strategy, not just execute one.

  • Self-directed with a strong eye for aesthetics and an instinct for what makes content feel authentic.

  • Austin-based ideal but not required.
